About this machine
Most mixers in this class run AC motors, which are cheap, loud and prone to heating under a stiff dough. This one runs a 400 W DC motor: quicker to speed, quieter at load and cooler through a long knead, which matters when the recipe asks for ten minutes rather than two.
The other half of the design is the base. A load bearing block sits at the bottom of the body, and it is the reason the mixer does not bounce or creep toward the counter edge when the hook hits a dry patch. Anyone who has caught a walking mixer mid knead knows why that is on the spec sheet.
The bowl is 6.34 quarts of stainless with a handle and takes 1600 grams of dough at once, enough for a family of four to seven. The hook, flat beater, wire whip and pouring shield are included; the head tilts back so the bowl comes out without fighting.
