The direct replacement for the compact machines of that generation.

Espresso accessories are model specific, and the two portafilter sizes are not interchangeable: 51 mm fits the compact machines, 58 mm the retro and CP6100U bodies. A second portafilter is the small luxury that lets you pull two shots back to back, and a pitcher with a narrow spout is the difference between latte art and a splash.
